How to Plant Curcuma Siam™ 'Splash'
Simple steps to get your Curcuma Siam™ 'Splash' established in your DFW yard.
Choose the Right Location
Select a spot that gets part shade. Allow room for a mature height of 18-24 in. Plan for 12-18 in spread.
Prepare the Soil
Rich, moist, well-drained organic soil
Plant Properly
Remove from the container and gently loosen the roots. Place in the hole so the top of the root ball is level with or slightly above the surrounding soil. Backfill with amended soil and tamp gently to remove air pockets.
Water & Mulch
Water thoroughly after planting and keep soil consistently moist. Apply 2–3 inches of mulch to retain moisture and regulate soil temperature.
