How to Plant Carex 'Evercolor Everillo'
Simple steps to get your Carex 'Evercolor Everillo' established in your DFW yard.
Choose the Right Location
Select a spot that gets part shade to shade. Allow room for a mature height of 12-18 in. Plan for 12-18 in spread.
Prepare the Soil
Moist, well-drained, slightly acidic
Plant Properly
Remove from the container and gently loosen the roots. Place in the hole so the top of the root ball is level with or slightly above the surrounding soil. Backfill with amended soil and tamp gently to remove air pockets.
Water & Mulch
Water thoroughly after planting. Apply 2–3 inches of mulch to retain moisture. Water weekly during the first growing season to help roots establish.
